Novo edital vai aumentar em 18% o número de câmeras corporais portáteis da PM de SP

O pregão para a contratação de 12 mil Câmeras Operacionais Portáteis (COPs) para a Polícia Militar deve resultar em uma economia de mais de 54% à Secretaria de Estado da Segurança Pública (SSP), em comparação com o contrato vigente. O valor da primeira colocada no pregão realizado nesta segunda-feira (10) também é 30% menor que o previsto pela PM.

No total, 14 empresas participaram da disputa. A empresa melhor colocada terá, agora, que apresentar documentação para as etapas de habilitação e análise de amostras.

“Nós tivemos bastante concorrência e uma redução importante no custo da câmera. Agora, a gente vai para a segunda fase, que é a prova de conceito, em que será verificado se o equipamento da empresa vencedora atende a tudo que foi especificado no edital”, explicou o governador Tarcísio de Freitas durante coletiva na manhã de hoje. “É uma oferta importante, que mostra que estamos na direção certa”, completou.

A proposta aprovada representa um gasto estimado de R$ 4,3 milhões por mês à SSP, mais de 54% a menos que os atuais contratos. Apesar da redução do valor, o pregão prevê um aumento de 18,5% no número de equipamentos disponíveis no estado, que hoje cobrem 52% do trabalho operacional. Ou seja, com a nova aquisição, além de manter a cobertura atual e aperfeiçoar a tecnologia, haverá uma expansão do programa no território paulista.

As novas câmeras terão tecnologia mais moderna, com a inclusão de novas funcionalidades, como reconhecimento facial, leitura de placas de veículos, melhoria na conectividade, entre outras.

O acionamento dos equipamentos será obrigatório, podendo ser realizado de forma manual ou remota pela central de operações da PM, permitindo maior gestão operacional e eficiência do sistema. O acionamento seguirá rígidas regras estabelecidas pela corporação e o policial que não cumprir o protocolo será responsabilizado.
